There is a VCN Client for iPhone 3G, I have seen it in the Apps Store, In fact there are two one free and not free.... But I have no need for them so I don't know how well they work.

But I must say the iPhone has me completely addicted with it's other features.
Especially the ebook reader, I just whip it out anywhere I'm waiting around and read a few pages. Removes boredom from life

Just noticed this thread, there are VNC and SSH apps on the app store, and VPN support is built in.

I plan on "jailbreaking" mine, I have come across an app call customise which looks to be the best app out there.

Speaking as an ex iPhone 2g and 3g owner and allround mac lover, i would stay away from it, battery is crap, cant hold signal, slows way down, and those are the good points.

after 7 weeks i sold mine to my brother in law

I've chosen not to bother with a the iphone. They are just expensive tools with limited functionality. The only way to make them decent is to Jailbreak them but they are tied up with long term contracts (minimum business ones are 24 months).

I had tried the HTC diamond which I liked because its highly customisable but was annoying. So I am going to try the Samsung Omnia and see how I get on with that.
